Privacy Policy for DaysToGo

Last updated: September 2026

DaysToGo ("the app") is developed to help you keep track of the events and moments that matter to you. This policy explains what information the app handles and how.

1. Information You Create

All events, reminders, notes, and dates you add to DaysToGo are stored only on your own device. We do not collect, transmit, upload, or have any access to this content. There is no account creation or sign-in required to use the app, and none of your event data ever leaves your device.

2. Analytics

DaysToGo uses Firebase Analytics, a service provided by Google, to understand basic, anonymous usage of the app — for example, how many people open the app, how often, and which features (like creating a countdown or enabling a reminder) get used.

This analytics data:

Firebase Analytics may collect standard technical information such as device type, operating system version, app version, general usage events, and an advertising/analytics identifier, in line with Google's own privacy practices. You can learn more about how Google handles this data at policies.google.com/privacy.

3. Advertising

DaysToGo shows occasional ads through Google AdMob to help keep the app free to use. Ads are shown sparingly — after every 10 countdowns you create in a single day, or every 30 countdowns created cumulatively since your last ad, whichever comes first. Not on every use of the app.

To select and measure ads, AdMob may use a device identifier and general usage signals. This does not include the content of your events (names, dates, notes, or any personal details you enter). Depending on your region, you may be shown a consent option controlling how your data is used for ads, in line with applicable privacy laws (such as GDPR in the EEA/UK). You can learn more about how Google handles this data at policies.google.com/privacy.

4. Notifications

If you allow it, DaysToGo uses on-device notifications to remind you about your events. These notifications are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device and do not involve sending your event data anywhere.

5. Sharing

If you choose to share a celebration card or invite a friend to try DaysToGo, the app hands that content to the sharing app you select (Messages, WhatsApp, Gmail, etc.) through your device's normal share sheet. That exchange is between you and whichever app you choose — we do not see, collect, or store anything you share this way.

6. Third-Party Services

DaysToGo uses the following third-party services:

7. Children's Privacy

DaysToGo does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. The app does not require any personal information to function.

8. Data Retention & Deletion

Since your event data is stored only on your device, you can delete it at any time by clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app, with no request needed. Anonymous analytics and advertising data is retained by Google according to their standard retention policies.

For the anonymous usage or advertising data collected via Firebase Analytics or AdMob (see Sections 2 and 3), you can request deletion by emailing randomchat8848@gmail.com with your request. Since this data is not tied to your identity or an account, we'll process deletion requests tied to the anonymous device identifier you provide.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time as the app changes. Any updates will be reflected on this page.
